On Desring To Know God

On Desiring To Know God

In my desire to know God more,

I must seek with more discipline,

follow in more of His strength,

and abide in more of His grace.

Reflecting...

• We know that in most all of life our desires must be pursued with a measure of discipline -- at least under normal circumstances.  
• It is the same with God.  Should I desire to know the Lord more, it stands to reason that I should expect to seek him in a more disciplined fashion: or at least keep up on the disciplines that I have developed.  
• In our seeking, our purpose should be to follow the Lord and as we continue to follow him we should keep on learning the "art" of abiding in him and his grace. 

Reflection More...

• As you think of discipline, seeking, following and abiding in relationship to your walk with Jesus, what lessons have you learned -- or are you learning?  Not that I am asking you to share here: I am not: this is simply for your own reflection and growth. 
• Granted, those are huge concepts!  

What About A "Takeaway"? 

• Once again, not that everything must end up in a "takeaway" for the day, but if this one did... 
• What would it be for you?  
• And if you have one, should you... journal it, share it, make a video, create a point to be made in a lesson you may be teaching, etc?
